My little Wheezer

So, where do I begin? It has been a week!
Lets start at the beginning...This picture was taken on Sunday, Feb 22nd at Marian Hospital ER. Our little boy had been fighting a cold for about a week. Runny nose, you know the kind...green, clear, green, clear. If you read further back in the blog you will even see that we had a "Melt Down" on Wed and started getting concerned about infection so we went to the urgent care. Nevertheless, right about 530 on Sunday night, right when we got the pizza delivered and the Oscars on the TV, I noticed Jack was wheezing. A rattling with every breath. So off to the ER we went. After waiting for hours, we were finally taken to a room. Although Jack has a temp of 102, he was still in a great mood. I mean look at him...just a jolly guy! Well, let me restate. I very sick Jolly guy... So, the ER did basically nothing. Told me he had Asthma and sent us to the pharmacy in at 1 in the morning for inhalers and robitussin. By Tuesday morning, Jack was very sick. Still happy but very sick. At Dr. Youngs, Jack was diagnosed with RSV, a lower lung infection. We were given a prescription for a nebulizer and antibiotics and steriods...Still even with a fever and an infection Jack remained in a good mood. Incredible.
