Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

So my mom emailed me last night at 12 midnight ( she is a night owl!) and gave me some "Mom" advice to my sleep situation with Jack. Only my mom would make the most sense to me...

"Don't sweat the small stuff!"

She said, just bring Jack into bed with me and snuggle. Don't be over analyzing things. Just snuggle and love him! She also reminded me that the reason I don't remember Sydney's sleep trials is because I used to just bring her into bed and love her. Ha! I don't remember that, but I bet my mom is right!

So, I think I am going to try that next time. Doesn't giving always sound better? He's only a baby once, right?
BUT WAIT!
If I give in this time, won't I need to give in next time? Won't it just go on and on? Will I 40 still sleeping with my 5 year old son? UGH! OK...I am analyzing again! HE HE

OH! Just a note, I am still unmotivated. Two days until I leave for surgery and I am still not ready! HA! Oh well...
Maybe tonight I will sit with Adam and get it all done!
Ok...off to church :)
