Visiting Papa

After my wonderful time at Angel Stadium we went to visit Papa at the cemetery. I was so nice in Claremont yesterday...and we really did have a nice time visiting dad. However, I did notice that the other people in the cemetery we solemn and unfortunately my children were not. I don't think that my dad would have minded. I really think he would have liked to hear the kids laughter and giggles than to see them standing still and being forced to be reverent.

Sydney spent a bunch of time shining up Papas grave and Adam and Jack and I hung out on the bench under the tree. We all read Dad's poem and Sydney started to memorize it. We all have too, you know. Sydney and Jack even went to a stroll (and a crawl) to look at all the pretty flowers and other headstones. It was peaceful and comfortable there and I love that the kids feel ok going there to visit my dad.

Anyhow...Adam is always so sweet when he visits my dad. He always leads us in a prayer for Papa. But the kids decided that it was time to tease each other. So I grabbed the camera and recorded. I think its funny and I think my dad would of too...
