Swim Lessons

So this year we decided to drive a bit for our swim lesson. Lompoc has a new indoor pool and it is sooo awesome. The Aquatic Center offers evening swim lessons around the time Adam gets off work and since its located not to far from where he works we thought it would be fun to swim there.

Our local Y is where we took swim lessons in the past but morning lessons are freezing because the sun doesn't burn off the marine layer until around 11 and late afternoon lessons stink because the winds pick up around 3 in the summer! This indoor pool is cozy comfy even if it is blustery outside. And looks the water slides! Whoo Hoo!

We stayed last night after lessons for rec swim and its was a blast! Sydney has made it to level 2 swim lessons this year and she is doing great. But she keeps saying how tired her legs are from kicking so much! Jack and Adam are in a parent and tot class. Lots of fun for dad after a long day at work!

Check out how well Sydney is doing her 'rocket'. A far cry from the clinging and crying in the pool a few summers ago!
