Steals

My nine year old is half big kid, half tween. Sydney was begging for this butterfly hot pink 'teenage' chair for her room. Very AWESOME she told me.
"You know Mom, my room has to start changing. I am growing up you know"
Yes Sydney I know.
I wouldn't even consider the money for this chair at full price. $69.99. The begging started last week when it was on sale for $39.99. Still not possibility for my pocketbook. The pleading took place when she saw it in an ad for $29.99. I still declined.
Yesterday, while Sydney was at cheer camp, I ran across it on clearance at Kohls for $19.99. I dug in my wallet and found a coupon card for $10.00 bucks off a purchase.
Now that was awesome.

Love getting a steal for $9.99.

Sydney was so surprised when we showed her it last night. We had to move her chest of drawers in the closet to make room for it in her room, but it does look very 'teenager-y'. She loved it sooo much that she wanted to sleep in it last night. Adam snuck into her room and snapped this picture of her crashed out on it. Priceless, don't you think?

Our Sydney, wanting so badly to grow up and still so much a kiddo. She lives in the land between MP3 and dollhouses. Big girl undergarments and American Girl dolls. I really really wish I could just freeze her right where she is.

Another steal yesterday was in Paso. Adam and I had some serious time to kill so we wandered around everywhere. Peaked in a yard sales and look what we found...

An awesome table and chairs for Jack! Its just his size! Its perfect for him and he loves it!
So cute!

A great day with great bargains.
Don't you love it when things work out just right?

Those are some great deals and fun finds! Sydney looks so sweet sleeping in that chair. I know what you mean about wanting to freeze these moments.
