You walked thru WHAT?

Tonight was Back to School night for Sydney. I actually look forward to this time. Love to visit Syd's classroom and get the skinny from her teacher about expectations, rewards and just the general oversight of what is coming this school year. I love structure and this teacher has it down. Bravo!
Apparently my babysitter loves structures too, or at least walking thru them! Tonight Kristin walked right thru the screen door with Jack. No one was hurt but she felt so bad! Poor thing. Oh well, its a memory right. Good teasing material too. I even made her take a picture with it! Funny.
Oh and check out the sign of the times. Syd's teacher asked for help with classroom supplies and look what she wanted. Flash Drives. Not just paper and tissue and playground balls (which we have already donated) but flash drives. That kinda made me stop and think of the technological age we live in. Sydney will be saving her work to a portable memory USB device and working on it in the computer lab. Crazy!
Anyhow, we zipped over to Target and grabbed two of them on sale. Another reason why I love Target. In and out in 5 minutes!

Ridge didn't have to have one last year but he wanted one. I could barely figure out how to use it at first! It is amazing all the technology these kids learn and all we had was paper and pencil!

That's pretty funny about the screen. I'm sure she'll always remember it as an embarrassing moment in her life. That's nice of you to make it easy on her. Were you around when Amy C ran through the sliding glass door? I think it was elementary age.
