Outside Revamp

So our backyard is seriously under construction these days. This is what Adam is building...

Massive huh? It is huge and its going to be so fun. But I can't even begin to understand how my husband finds pleasure in building this! Its scares the heebee jeebees out of me. But my husband is awesome and so super-hero like he is going for it. So far it looks like this...

But check out the picnic table he finished! Whoo hoo! It came with the swing set. Neat huh? Hoping to have this big guy built by Jacks 2nd Birthday party in June! I can't wait to see it!

And here is the latest project for the kids and me....

Our garden. I have never had a vegetable garden so we thought we would give it a go. Don't you love my "keep out" fence? So cute! I am going to leave two openings on either side so we can do our gardening without having to jump over but the rest of the fence kinda signals to the little people to step away from the garden. I am missing the back part of my fence because I ordered one pack too little. But its on its way. I found it cheap originally at Walmart.com (I know Walmart, ICK! but Walmart online is the greatest. Not bad at all. ) But they were sold out of them know. UGH. So I found it on some other random website. PHEW! I don't like to leave things half done. And having a missing portion on my fence was just going to bug me! I know...there I go getting OCD again.

Anyhow, I am way off point.

We are going to try to grow some yummy's. But I usually kill off stuff so cross your fingers. But can't you see us picking our own carrots and radishes this summer? Eating straight from the earth? Won't that be awesome?

I know...a little cum-by-ya for me, but I think I can do it!

Anyhow, wish us luck. And come see the new backyard in June, it will be awesome!
