Piano Lessons

Yesterday was an exciting day! Sydney started piano lessons! And let me tell you she was so excited after her first lesson. We don't have a real piano (Darn! Maybe someday...) but we do have a wonderful keyboard and we were able to put it in Syd's room for practice (her brother wants to "help" all the time!) and to bring it out for lessons. Our friend Jerri from church is our piano teacher and we are so lucky to have her teaching Sydney. They know each other already so everyone is really comfortable. And Jerri is willing to come to the house so I don't have to chase Jack around her home! Awesome.
Sydney was so excited to be playing three songs by the time the lesson was over. And when she started singing along with her lovely voice while playing all was right with the world!
I hope this is the beginning of a wonderful love of the piano!
