Day in the life...

I was washing the dinner dishes right now after I tucked everyone in bed (including my sweet Adam) and I got to thinking about all that happened today. Not that anything big really happened but just the randomness that makes up a day in the life of the Krebs family. Like this for instance...
Did you know that Jack learned how to say "I Sahhhreeee". He says it constantly. Over and over. I sahreee, I sahreee. Its adorable. For now. I am sure in a bit, it will drive me bonkers after I heard it for the billionth time, but right now he knows I hug him and tell him "its alright son" every time even though he didn't do anything at all. I think he enjoys that response and loves that hug because he says 'I sahhhreee' for things that don't need an apology. Just wait. It will melt your heart too. :) I made the reservation for our five year anniversary today. Adam asked to back to Cambria Pines Lodge. Its where we went for our honeymoon. I scored the same room with a discount as a returning honeymooner! Yahoo. We have to go on a Thursday, two days before our real anniversary but its going to be great. Now I just need to sweet talk (ummm I mean ask kindly) my mom into watching the kids overnight. Hmmmm, maybe I will show up with some dark chocolate. She loves that stuff. :)
Sydney lost another tooth. One without a brace (thank goodness!). It was however the one tooth with a filling in her mouth. Yup, she had a cavity on a baby tooth. When she lost it I thought to myself, don't forget to remind the tooth fairy. There goes 3 bucks. Then I thought, well really, there goes like $153.00 bucks. That's what the filling cost. $150 bucks. Kinda a waste don't you think, seeing that it just dropped out of her mouth. There has to be a cheaper way of filling baby teeth.
Snapped this picture of Jack this morning with this funny hat on his head. Every time I see it it reminds me of the guy from Curious George. Funny.
Yes, you read correctly earlier. I tucked my sweet husband into bed a bit ago. He's got a cold. We both got it at the same time (we are thinking the culprit was at VBS) but Adam's cold is lasting longer than mine. And now Jack has the great green nose. Yippee. I busted out the penguin today. I should find a place for that nebulizer to live, so I don't have to keep digging it out.
Anyhow...my poor baby. I hope he feels better soon. :(

And the best part of the week. Sydney is attending PCPA theater camp this week. And she LOVES it. I mean not just LOVES, but L.O.V.E.S. IT! She says when she is there it feels like she was only there 20 minutes. She is really there 9-2pm so that is saying something. She says she is totally attending every year until she is 18! Good to know. I told she needs to get a job!

Nah, I am happy she is finding joy in this. I kinda knew she would. Singing, dancing, acting. She lives for this stuff. And she's good too! I am really happy for her! Go Syd!
So my day in a nutshell. I really do love this life I lead.
