So, when I opened the front door I heard a loud cheer!
And I thought
"Wow! These kids really missed me!"
Ha! Not so much! They were cheering for Nana because she landed a shot on my ceiling fan.
Huh?
Ahh...the ceiling fan game. And old past time of Nana and Sydney while they over at her house. And today was the day they introduced the fun game to Jack. And let me tell you, that boy went crazy! CRAZY for this high flying fun.
Basically here's what they do. Nana and Sydney take turns throwing all sorts of small stuffed animals up in the air in hopes to get them to land on the ceiling fan blades. Beanie Babies, Webkinz, any little guy really. They launch them in the air and scream like mad when one lands on the blade. The cheers can be heard down the block. They are really good at it. Check it out. There are four animals that made it up there in this picture!
Then, when they're all up they turn on the fan and watch 'em FLY! Those little guys spin and spin and launch in the air with gusto. Jack LOVES it. He screams and laughs and runs about while it rains stuffed animals on him!So, this is how they spent the hour while I was gone. Launching stuffed animals in the air.
Good times with Nana! Like I said, lucky kids.

A little different version than my ceiling fan game but sounds fun!! My friend, Alicia, and I used to throw licorice at the fan while it was on!! Then crack up as licorice goes flying all over the room! Beware: can leave red marks on walls!!!
