Hello 5th Grade!

Yes, School has started again and although I will miss Sydney with me everyday, it is time for that girl to get back on a schedule! We had a great summer of swimming, playing, sleeping, crafting, vacationing and everything else. But school is awesome and she was ready to go back. Sydney got all her new shoes ready and picked out the outfit that makes her feel prettiest (she chose this outfit for our family pics too) and it was fun watching her do her own hair and getting ready. I remember 5th grade, its an exciting time.

Sydney and Joselynn are not in the same class. Bummer,

but I am sure they will still see each other all the time!

Here is Sydney's room. She has Mrs. Grennan this year.

Sydney has a bunch a friends in her class

including our good friend Nick.

So we are excited for the great year ahead. But check it out.

I miss all the flowers and stickers and surfboards of the past.

I guess this classroom is sending the message that

its time to get down to business as a 5th grader.

And its true. These are the grades that

will get her into a good Jr.High.

But it still made me wistful for her itty bitty days.
