We had the plan of hosting my Mom over for a late birthday celebration before we sucker punched by the car accident. I was really glad for that, because after two days of dealing with insurance companies and such, I needed a good meal and a good time!My Mom was in Texas for her real birthday and celebrated a bunch there, so we just decided to have Abel and my Mom over for dinner and cake and a little pumpkin carving. It was a easy nice way to end a crazy couple of weeks.
