Appointments!

So the end of the year was FILLED with rain and appointments! I am NOT KIDDING! Everyday of both holiday weeks were booked up with appts for Mom and me. Whether it was the OBGYN for me, or the plastic surgeon consult for my Mom. A tour of the chemo infusion rooms for Mom or a yearly physical for me, I had the kids with a babysitter everyday. Thank goodness for Sadie, who helped out the most during these trying weeks. She did a great job watching the kids. By the end of the week, it was hard to keep my head screwed on straight. A lot of what was being said started to sound like "blah blah blah" but I knew I had to suck it up and pay attention, because I knew each piece was a very important piece of Mom's puzzle.
So, I'll just say, I am thankful for babysitters and Excedrin, because they both made it possible to get thru this last week of the year.
