Sydney's First Softball Practice EVER!

Ah! Mark this moment in time. My little girl is FINALLY in ORGANIZED SPORTS! Can you believe it? Can you sense that I am so super excited that I am finally able to put Sydney into a sport? YAHOO!!! Thank you Adam for making it possible for me to stay home, and thus, making it possible for Syd to PLAY BALL! You are the best!
Sydney rocked it today at her first softball practice! She is on the team the "Giants". You know, for a gal who never has played before, she really did a super job. The team is great, the coaches are great, and girls on the team are great! Day one was really an out of sight experience!
Here is a picture of Sydney up to bat! Doesn't she look like she has been playing since Tee Ball? Good stance, solid back, eye on the ball...pretty good! Now if we can just get her elbow up...So, do you see the natural talent? Look at the power in her follow thru. :) I was proud of Sydney for not being afraid of the ball (like her mom!) and going for it! She has a pretty good pitch!

Here is Sydney waiting for a ball to come her way. All in all, Syd is super excited about playing and so are we! I hope she is still excited 20 games from now... YUP, that's what I said, 20 games! Wish us luck!
