A Double Header and A Diorama

Well today Adam had his hands full! Sydney had a double header at the ball field today. A game at 8 am and a game at 1:30. Sydney did well in both games. In the first game she got a hit, got on base and actually scored a run! Yahoo! I asked Syd how she felt about making it home and scoring a run and she said "It felt goooood, and it felt great!" Way to go Sydney.

After showering up, Sydney and I worked on her Diorama for her Toucan report for school.
(I am so grateful that I felt ok earlier to help her with this project!) Right now the rough draft has been turned into her teacher Mr. Devereaux, but the shoebox diorama was still needing to be finished. Didn't Sydney do a great job drawing her bird? I love her trees too! The big tree in the background we did together, as well as the water and plants on the bottom. I think she did a great job. Her toucan really shines!
Oh, by the way, Sydney just announced at dinner right now, that she has the biggest foot in her class. Wow! What you learn at the dinner table. Ha! :)
