After Sydney's softball game this morning (which I actually made it to! yay!) Adam decided to make everyone a treat. Well...let's be more accurate. After Adam went back to the ballpark and filled in for me at the snack bar, he decided HE needed a treat ( for all the hard work, ya know) So he made us all strawberry shortcake.
Don't you love strawberry season? It's one of the reasons I love living on the central coast. Mmmmm the strawberries are so delicious! The pic above is what Adam served me. I had to slice up those berries into itty bitty pieces but everything was pretty mushy due to the whip and it was YUMMY!
The pics below are just random things the kids were doing in the kitchen while they waited for their treat. I thought they were funny so I snapped pics of them. I mean come on... look at Jack! He's crawling up on all fours with a 'Goochy" in his mouth!
OH NO! NOT THE INFAMOUS GOOCHY??? Don't get all worked up...this isn't Sydney's goochy. This is an extra one we had as a back up. She is too old now for me to "swap" goochy's out in case we lose one. So, she said I should just give this one to Jack. He loves it!
Anyhow...he carries that jellyfish around like a dog, carrying it with one tentacle in his mouth.
This pic makes me laugh. I call it The Booty Shot! Jack loves crawling thru Sydney's legs. They do this all the time and just giggle. Mucho Fun!
