Last night before bed I went to brush my teeth and "band up". That's what Adam and I call it when I lean over the bathroom sink and yell at myself in the mirror as I try to get my big ol' fat fingers in my mouth and hook up all of my rubber bands on these sensitive jaws of mine. Its quite funny, all the things that fly out of my mouth as I try to get this done. Too much.
So anyway...last night I was TOTALLY DISTRACTED by the amount of gray hair I found on my head. Seriously. I pulled about 18 gray or white or sparkly silver hairs out of my hair from all different areas of my head. My bangs had little itty bitty ones. My layers had sparkly ones flowing thru them, screaming out against my dark brown locks. With every flip of my hair I found more. Incredible!
Then I started looking at my skin. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SKIN? I mean the skin on my face? Who's skin is that? Its not mine, I tell ya, because I have really pretty olive skin and the skin reflecting back at me in the mirror was a little blotchy and a little wrinkly (around my eyes) AND it looked dry in some areas and oily in others. What is that about?
So I am not quite sure what to make of all this but being "thirty-something" was looking a bit rough last night at 11p.m. Today I decided that I would start working on my skin. Moisturizers, lotions, Oil of Olay, Ponds Cold Cream. And I would drink lots of water. Tons of Water. Drown myself in water!
How long do you think it will take to make me have the pretty olive skin I used to have? Hmmm? I will blog in a month and let you know what happened.

...just gotta chuckle here, Kathi. As Grandma Jewell once said to me, "Cheer up! - It gets worse!"
Your web page is sweet!
