This is the song that Sydney and I took line for line this afternoon and discussed. Life is going going gone. We are not going to live forever. How are you going to spend your life today?

What prompted this was Sydney longing looking at the big houses we were driving by and the fancy car next to us on the street. She and I always sing this song, but today she understands a bit more of what she is singing about. Today is the day to get closer to God, to love your family, to help your neighbor. We are not immortal. We are not permanant. And we can't take it with us. Focus today on love, goodness and being there for others instead of houses and cars and stuff. Because soon is will all be "Gone."
