This morning Jack and Sydney and I got up and out early and met up with my Mom's Club friends down in Solvang. We started the day with a tour of Pattibakes, a bakery, where Sydney and Jack took a tour of the shop and watched how they prepare and bake bread and cookies.
After our mini tour Sydney and the older kiddos got to dip a sugar cookie into frosting and decorate and eat one! Yum! Sydney had a fun time choosing her sprinkles and enjoying her delicious treat. Jack, surprisingly did not like the cookie and just licked it and threw it down. Funny huh?
After the tour Sydney practiced her photography skills taking these pictures of flowers and her brother.

Here's a picture of Jack nibbling the cookie. You can tell by his expressing he's not to fond of it.
Sydney likes her cookie
Next we drove a bit down Highway 101 to the Blueberry Farm. Our little family went here once before and its a whole lot of fun to pick those yummy little berries!
The temperature was soaring out in Buellton today, and of course, our little guy did not want to keep his hat on.
