A little unwinding

After I picked Sydney up from school today we took a trip to Target. Sydney was invited to an end of the year sleepover tomorrow and I wanted to treat her to a new sleeping gown for a job well done at school. Well, Sydney and I ended up spending hours at Target. We stopped and got a snack to munch on. We browsed every dept in the store. Don't worry, we were good. We talked each other out of impulse shopping items! Did I really need that new bath mat? Did she really want to bust into her bank for that new CD? All in all, we just got the essentials. Well, the essentials and a new Hanna Montana nightgown.

After that marathon trip Jack needed a little unwinding. So we stopped at the park for a few minutes of play. It was fun! I snapped a bunch of pics of the kids playing on the equipment. Just a casual free first afternoon of summer. Boy, did it feel great to be free of the pressures of school.

Just some cute pics of the kids. Jack and Sydney spent a long time picking flowers. Syd loved the slides, but kept complaining they hurt her hiney. And check out Jack standing around....
