Oh boy

Choose your battles wisely ~ give patience where patience is due, and continually ask God for wisdom in discipline.

Oh Boy, do I need to do this more. Kinda feeling recently that I am a bit too critical of Sydney. The thoughts I have don't always leave my mouth but I do find myself thinking sometimes that she should be doing something different or better. UGH. I don't want to have a critical spirit of my daughter and I don't want her to feel that she is not good enough.

I am thinking that most of the time it is me who is not being 'good enough'. Sydney is just being 9. I need to give patience where patience is due. In all things with her.
I will continue to pray for God's wisdom that I can guide her with loving patient discipline instead of a critical discipline.
