Avila Barn

Today was the day that Jack felt better. He's been sick with a cold since last week, but today I had my joyful son back. He's finishing his course of Zythromax, an antibiotic and although he's still on breathing treatments for another week, he is not coughing and the runny nose pretty much as ended! Yahoo!
Since Adam was only working half a day, and I was going a bit stir crazy being in the house for 4 days, we decided to take a quick trip to Avila Barn. It was a very easy trip. The barn was busy but not too too crowded and we were able to grab a tractor ride out to the field and pick our pumpkins from the vine. That is always a family favorite. We also fed the animals and went in the corn maze. (Well Sydney did, I have an aversion to mazes, I don't know why, must be a lack of control thing) Although we didn't shop or get ice cream or fudge (darn WW) the trip was a nice break from the daily grind of breathing treatments and doctor appts. And the weather was perfect. A perfect 7o. How can you ask for anything more?
Here is a the fall picture of the kids. Getting Jack to corporate is tricky these days. But I like this one. I made it into a "fall greeting card" for our friends and family.
Doesn't Sydney look nice? Oh how I love older children who sit pretty and pose. Love it.
She is so grown up!

Love this picture of Adam and Jack and his monkey.
I like the backs of their heads.
They were admiring the animals.
Here is Jack and Adam in the little kid hay area.
Turns out Jack does not like hay. At all.
It reminded me of how Sydney didn't like sand or dirt
at this age. Funny huh?
Sydney's great pumpkin!
She sure is strong! This pumpkin weighed in at 21 lbs.
She must have gotten her strength from carrying her brother around!
Adam and Jack found our second perfect pumpkin!
See, look how pretty it was at 4 pm.
Perfect!

Jack wandering the pumpkin patch!
And Sydney too!
Love my friendly husband.
Sydney searched for her pumpkin solo this year.
Didn't really want company or any help.
She just knew what she wanted!
I enjoyed watching her be independent.
She is growing up so fast!

Jack really liked the tractor this time.
He had a whole dialogue with the tractor tire! Ha!
A super cute shot of father and son.
I adore taking pictures of these two cuties
together.
They are two best friends.
Already looking forward to next year!
