Christmas Eve

Ahhhh...so we made it back from LA just in time for Christmas Eve. We shared a low key morning, all of shopping and preparing for the big day that was to follow. Syd and I braved the grocery store (another lesson to be learned, skip the grocery shopping on the eve of Christmas!) and we decked out the kids in their Christmas finery to head out to church. Don't the kids look great?
Mom and Abel joined us at church for the service. I sang O' Holy Night. I think it went well, although due to a last minute change, a young gal from the youth group sang the exact same song just moments before me. Oh well! Have to say she did a great job, and the folks in church were just blessed with a really Holy Night! Sydney participated in the puppets as well as the children's choir and a special musical number with Adam on drums and singing with other kids from church. She did such a wonderful job!
This is the small group ensemble that Sydney was a part of!
They sounded great!
Here is Sydney is the kids choir. They sang a really fun song that I think the audience enjoyed
All in all it was a great Christmas Eve service. I always love seeing everyone right before we go home to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
