Our New Easy Bake Oven

Did you ever have one of these as a kid? I did! I had this very one! It was fun to play with and it really baked things. Little cake and muffin things on a teeny tiny tray. It was fun and I really enjoyed it!Well, here is our grown up version of a our Easy Bake Oven and it is now our primary cooking source for the next little while. Seems as though our oven is on the fritz and we can't find an entire day of time to call anyone to come over and take the day to fix it. Not when I am running to AG everyday to get Sadie and prepping for Finals with her. Combine that with Christmas parties, Christmas Program rehearsals, doctor appts and going out of town and we are going to be cooking Easy Bake Oven style until after Christmas!

We found out our oven has stopped working (just the oven, the burners are fine) when I was trying to make celebration cookies for Sadie. So Adam, (after enduring my frowning and complaining about the broken stove, sorry honey) got the awesome idea to bake them Easy Bake Oven style. They came out great! Look!

So, that's what we are going to do. Stove top dinner cooking and Easy Bake Oven Baking in our toaster oven. Pretty Good Plan huh? My husband is so brilliant.
