Astro Blasters and Submarines!

On of our first things we did in the park on Saturday was shop. Sydney had a $25 gift card to Disneyland and could spend it on anything she wanted. She started looking at the princess jewelry in one kid shop on Main Street until she looked up and spotted sparkly grown up jewelry in another adjacent shop. And boom! She was gone!
I was kinda sad that the day had come that Cinderella rings and necklaces didn't thrill her anymore, but I guess I have to face that she is growing up. She did a fine job managing her money and chose a pair of sparkly Mickey earrings that dangle and a lovely Mickey necklace in blue stones. The earrings were tricky to get into her ears, but we did it. Here she is showing off her new jewels!
Ouch! That hurt!
A close up upon request of our lovely girl!

Our first ride of the day was the Finding Nemo Submarines. We have been meaning to ride this ride for the past few years, but the line is always forever. And it has no Fast Pass. So this time we decided to suck it up and get it done. It was so worth it!
Jack was so excited by the subs!
I really enjoyed watching Adam and the kids on this ride. Adam had never been on the submarines either. I used to ride them when I was a kid. They really loved it!
Some pictures from my port-hole
Sydney really really liked it!
The old fashioned views from the submarine
Jack was thrilled when he spotted Nemo!
He loved the bubbles too!
Here is a picture of the new Nemo part of the ride.
It is so clever! Totally recommend it!

With the help of the Fast Pass we got to enjoy the Toy Story Astro Blasters this trip. Another ride we have never been on, it was crazy fun! Sydney and I rode together and had a super time spinning our vehicle around and trying to hit all the targets with our laser beam guns. Adam and Jack rode together and it seems as thought the
boy liked all the Buzz Lightyear things everywhere.
Another winner from Disney!
Adam came out with the highest score. Way to go Dad!
This pics were free from Disney. Just fill out the computer
and they emailed them to us. How awesome is that?
Can you spot Jack?
A happy grin after the fun ride!
