It's My Birthday!

Lovely Birthday Flowers from Sadie!

My Birthday was a very nice day...
It landed on a Thursday this year and it ended up being the same day as my Mom's PET scan. I spent the morning in the diagnostic lab with Mom, but then met up with my family at Moms for my traditional fried chicken dinner. It was a nice relaxed day.

One of the best parts of the day was when Sydney and my Mom came out in full reindeer accessories to sing a Birthday Reindeer Rap to me. It was hysterical. Modeled after the Reindeer Rap we saw at the Melodrama the weekend before, my Mom and Sydney sang and hopped around and basically killed us with their song. I loved it!

This was a treat, because just a week later my Mom was too weak and tired to get out of bed.

I will always remember how fun that moment was!
