Christmas Eve

Self Portraits before we headed out to Christmas Eve Service.
Don't the kids look great?
On Christmas Eve, our family attended our traditional Christmas Eve Service at church. This was our first year that no one from our family participated in the service and I have to admit it was soooo nice to just sit and enjoy. No pressure. And it was definitely the right choice for our family this year. I failed to get any good pictures of the kids and the grandparents this year, but I was so thankful that my Mom felt up to attending. Chemo and Radiation won't start until Jan 3, and although she is tired from the multitude of meetings and consults everyday, we now it will get harder soon. So we are grateful that she could enjoy this special service with us.
Jack was a bit onry at this service. Not content to sit still very long, he fidgeted and bounced on the laps of everyone in our row. Such is a holiday with a two year old.
Ooooo got ya!
A nice way to pass the time...
Jack was the funniest during the story time for kids. He would not sit still and he and Shane ran back and forth up the aisle from us to Pastor Bruce about a billion times. Oy Vey.
It was a cute sight.

When we got home, the kids found their pajamas on the door step. Santa dropped them by as he flew over our home and Sydney was so excited to put hers on!
Sydney was also able to open one present on Christmas Eve. She rec'd a new Wii game!
And she and Jack had a blast until we had to shoo them off to bed.
It was a wonderful night!
