Sweet Dreams!

Aaaahh peaceful nap time! So I after the battle of sleep Jack and I had a few days ago, I thought I would update everyone about our sleep patterns as of now. Jack is doing great! Last night he whimpered a few times but put himself back to sleep! Go JACK! What a kid!

Here is a couple of pics I just took right now at nap time. What a happy little guy! Jack loves that Cat in the Hat Here he is asleep a few minutes later...all on his own I might add. Yippee! I think its funny how the Cat in the Hat is attacking him!

So the sleep thing...I really think now that I don't remember what happened with Sydney and her sleep because its not worth remembering. She's my little angel and any battles over bed time have been long forgotten. And so too shall they be with Jack.

I have two good friends with good advice they shared with me. My friend Miken said "we build their structure but we also show them that we can give in just to make them a little happier at times. We love them and we don't want them to be unhappy" Ain't that the truth. Its just so hard to now when to teach and when to give in. Especially at 2 in the morning!

So, I will default, to the best piece of parenting advice I have ever received, from a dear friend who was 92 when he told Adam and I this tidbit..

When asked for the best insight he could give us into parenting, he promptly replied...

"Just love 'em"

That's what I am going to do... Just love him.
