Date Day

Do you know what my favorite all time movie is?

Hmmmm?

I will give you a hint...Still wondering?

Well it's this movie...

Yup. My favorite.
Tops the list. Even higher than Star Wars. When Harry Met Sally. The Godfather and Grease.
Its a good piece of trivia about me.
The reason I bring this up is because yesterday Adam and I had our make-up date. We went to a TV taping in Burbank instead of going to that Aerosmith concert that was cancelled.
It was awesome!
And FREE!
But one of the coolest things about yesterday was learning that my favorite movie of all time was filmed in the VERY SAME SOUND STAGE as our new favorite TV show.
The Big Bang Theory.
Isn't that the coolest? Right there in Sound Stage 25 on the Warner Bros lot James Cagney danced and sang and acted his way to an Academy Award in 1942. Awesome!

Adam and I had just a fabulous time. Traffic was light and we had a lovely lunch at Soup Plantation. We found the place easily and didn't have to wait in line too long. My big thrill was watching my "husband take it all in." He has never been to TV taping before of an actual sitcom and found every bit of it fascinating. The cameras, the wires , the monitors and the funny man to rev up the audience, all of it mystified Adam. And the show. Hysterical. Those actors just have the best jobs. They really do. It was so fun to see our favorite show being filmed and be watching live at the same time. Take after take was more hysterical. Just a great time.

OH! Forgot to mention we got autographs. Cool huh? Total classic moment of leaving over the railing with a sharpie and the actor reaching up and chatting while signing. Priceless.
Jim Parson who plays Sheldon is up for an Emmy this Sunday. We really hope he wins. I love to watch award shows anyway, but we are looking forward to watching this one together.

Anyhow love love loved it. Great day with my sweet hubby.
Thanks Mom and Kim (AGAIN) for watching my kiddos!

You both are the best!!
